Optix - Shutdown WIA Service
Optix - WIA Service Shutdown Needed
Issue:
Optix will not work correctly once this error box appears. A reboot of the computer will not resolve the issue.
Resolution:
Note - Services impact the computer, not per user login.
Optix should automatically disable the service when the Optix Workstation has been started. If it does not, Search for Services or services.msc .
Under Services, locate Windows Image Acquisition(WIA)
Stop the service, then Disable it.
Additional note - Even though service has been disabled, Windows Updates can change the status of this service to Automatic without you knowing it.
