How to Clear Internet Browser Caches

 

How to clear Cookies and Browser Cache for Edge, Chrome, FireFox and Safari. 

 

🟦 Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. In the left-hand menu, click Privacy, search, and services.

  5. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

  6. Select Cookies and other site data (and any other data you want to remove).

  7. Choose the time range (e.g., Last hour, Last 24 hours, All time).

  8. Click Clear now.


🟥 Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. In the left panel, click Privacy and security.

  5. Click Clear browsing data.

  6. In the pop-up window:

    • Go to the Basic or Advanced tab.

    • Check Cookies and other site data.

    • Choose the time range.

  7. Click Clear data.


🟧 Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Click the three-line menu (☰) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Settings (or Options on some versions).

  4. In the left panel, click Privacy & Security.

  5. Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section.

  6. Click Clear Data.

  7. Check Cookies and Site Data.

  8. Click Clear.

  9. Confirm by clicking Clear Now.


🟩 Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari.

  2. In the top menu bar, click Safari > Settings (or Preferences on older versions).

  3. Go to the Privacy tab.

  4. Click Manage Website Data….

  5. In the popup:

    • To remove all cookies, click Remove All.

    • To remove specific site cookies, search for the site and click Remove.

  6. Confirm when prompted.
