Forticlient Anti-Virus Installation - Field Office
Before installation, please remove any Antivirus products currently installed such as Kaspersky, McAfee, Symantec, etc.
If Forticlient finds a 3rd party Antivirus on the system, you'll be prompted to Exit the current installation or Disable Forticlient real-time protection. If prompted, please select Exit the current installation and remove any antivirus found in Programs and Features.
NOTE: To install on fellow staff members' computers, please copy the ForticlientSetup file to a USB drive and install on other computers as necessary. Downloading multiple copies of the file for each computer could be very slow and time consuming.
Open a web browser go to https://fcems.heifer.org:10443/installers/Default/CountryOffice_Client/
Next, you'll see a page with two options for the Forticlient download. Based on whether you have a 64-bit or 32-bit windows operating system, you'll need to download the appropriate installer by clicking either .exe file.

If you have a 64-bit Windows Operating System, you'll download the FortiClientSetup ending in _x64.exe; and if you have a 32-bit Windows Operating System, you'll download the FortiClientSetup ending in _x86.exe.
After clicking the file to download, you'll be prompted to Save the file to your computer. The file will be saved to your Downloads folder once the download completes.
Open Windows File Explorer or the Computer folder from the Start menu, browse to the Downloads folder and open.
Double-click the FortiClientSetup installation file to begin.
Click Run if you're prompted with a Security Warning.
Select Yes, I have read and accept the "License Agreement" and click Next.
On the next window, click Next.
Click Install to begin the installation process.
When the installation is complete, click Finish.
