Zoom - Personal Meeting ID

Overview
Personal Meeting ID is a conference audio hub that is permanently reserved just for you. It can start at any time and intended to be used for audio only meetings.


Personal Meeting ID
How to set and customize your PMI (Personal Meeting ID) for audio-only meetings:

1. Open the Zoom on your computer/device.
2. Click on Meetings in the bottom ribbon.
3. Now check the box next to 'Always use PMI for instant meeting on this computer'
4. To customize, click Edit.
5. Now Click Change your Personal Meeting ID.
6. Enter the desired 10 digit number (we recommend using your Heifer phone number).
7. Now click Apply and then Save.
    

Host ID

How to view and customize your Host ID to start and audio call:

1. Sign into the Zoom web portal:https://heifer.zoom.us
2. Toward the bottom of the My Profile page, there will be a Host ID.
3. Click Show to see the auto generated key.
4. To edit, click Edit on the right side of the page across from Host ID.
5. Select a 6 digit code that is easy for you to remember.
6. Click Save.

This Host ID allows you to start audio conferences using your Personal Meeting ID above.

Conduct A Meeting

1. Choose one of the Zoom dial in numbers to distribute to your participants.

Start Meeting as the Host:

1. Dial into one of the number above
2. Enter your Personal Meeting ID
3. Enter your Host ID to start the meeting.

Join as a Participant:

1. Dial into one of the numbers above
2. Enter the personal meeting ID the host supplied you with
3. You will be joined to the meeting once the Host arrives.
