Navigating Password Manager

 

To access the Password Manager portal, go to http://changemypassword.heifer.org . You can also access Heifer's Password Manager portal through the systems landing page at Systems.Heifer.org. On the systems landing page, click on the "Manage My Password" option.

Once you access the Password Manager portal, your screen should look like this.

 

 

From this site, Users are given a few options to choose from. Options include the following. 

 

  • I know my password - This link is used for Users to change their password but only if they already know their password. 
  • I forgot my password - This link is used for Users who wish to change their password but have forgotten their old password. 
  • My account is locked out - This link is used for Users that have been locked out of their account for whatever reason. 

Clicking any of these options will prompt the user to enter their Username. Then the User will undergo a multi-layer authentication process to access their password manager. It is highly recommended that users add as many additional authentication methods as possible to ensure they'll always have access to their accounts. In the next section, we will discuss each links function and how the user will interact with the interface.

 

I know my password

 

 

  1. First, the site will ask for your Username. This will be the Users first initial, last name. (Same as the Corral & email login)

  1. Next, Users will be required to authenticate by entering their current password.

  1. On the next screen, Users will be presented with change password fields and the requirements for the password they're wanting to create.

 

  1. If the Users password meets all the requirements for a strong password, it will never expire.

  1. Success, the User has changed their password.

 

 

I forgot my password

 

  1. First, the site will ask for your Username. This will be the Users first initial, last name. (Same as the Corral & email login)

  1. Next, Users will be required to authenticate with DUO. Select "Send Me a Push" and accept the notification send to the DUO enrolled device.

 

3. Once fully authenticated, the user will be presented with change password fields and password requirements.

4. After meeting the password requirements, the User's password will have been successfully changed.

 

 

 

 

My account is locked out

 

 

  1. First, the site will ask for your Username. This will be the User's first initial, last name. (Same as the Corral & email login)

  1. Next, Users will be required to authenticate with their additional authentication methods. 4 stars are required. 

  1. Once fully authenticated, the User's account will be unlocked.
