DUO First Time Enrollment and DUO Reset Guidelines

Scenario 1: First-Time DUO Enrollment

If you’ve never logged into a Heifer system that requires DUO enrollment (e.g., Heifer Email, Office 365, IPMS, or Zoom), follow these steps:

  1. Log in to https://apps.heifer.org using your Heifer credentials.
    • Don’t know your password? Use this link to reset it.
    • If the reset is unsuccessful, request your manager to email Tech Support at techsupport@heifer.org for a password reset. (Password reset requests must come from your manager or a People Department representative.)
  2. Once logged in, follow the on-screen DUO enrollment instructions to complete your setup.
    • We strongly recommend using the DUO Mobile option to receive push notifications for ease of use.
    • Avoid using the SMS text option, as it is less reliable.

Scenario 2: Resetting DUO Enrollment for a New Device

If you are already enrolled in DUO but no longer have access to the previously enrolled device, follow these steps:

  1. Request your manager or a People Department representative to email techsupport@heifer.org to request a DUO enrollment reset.
  2. The email must include the following details:
    • The phone number of the device you wish to enroll (include the country code).
    • The type of phone (iOS or Android).
  3. After the request is processed, Tech Support will send an SMS message to the provided phone number with instructions for enrolling your new device in DUO.
